Thank you, I recently found a small platter/plate /mosaic of MIllard Sheets art work in my elderly parents home that they must have collected years ago. My parents had to move into a Senior living apartment complex and told me to go through and have whatever they left behind, “Because we can’t take it with us when we die!” In their own words.
The mosaic is in very good shape, and I was wondering what it’s value is today. I just saw that they were mass produced on someone’s blog, so I’m not sure what it’s worth and would appreciate any information you might have. My parents are of German heritage, but moved to Long Beach in 1964, when I was born, so my parents did a lot of collecting over 52 years in Southern California. On the back the plate says: “…This mosaic is the work of artist Millard Sheets, and will add much to the aesthetic beauty of Home Savings’ new Rialto office.”

Thanks for writing. I would be curious to see a picture — it sounds like a giveaway from the opening of the Rialto office. I have been collecting some of the Home Savings promotional materials for the exhibition, and the Home Savings archives, held by Chase, have some as well. (I see some on eBay too.)

I just took a picture of the plate and would like to show you, but how do I do that with wordpress? I’m new at this.

Emailing the image to me is best; my email address should be easy to find via search engine.
